Alaska Airlines Disney Jet Plane
Alaska Airlines Even though Gustavus is part of the main land of Alaska it is like living on an island. It is on the out edge of Glacier Bay's National Park. There are no roads connecting it to the rest of Alaska. In fact the only paved road here is 10 miles long reaching from the airport to Glacier Bay, Bartlet Cove. So the only way to get here is buy plane or by boat. In the Summer Alaska's Jet flies in making a quick stop in Juneau first.

Disney Plane

With the exception of Alaska Airlines during the summer bush planes, single engine small planes, are the transportation locals and visitors rely on year round. |

Close to the Salmon River with Views to the Ocean There are a little over 400 residents in Gustavus But about half only stay for the summer A lot of people who visit find it so wonderful here they decide to have homes here It is one of the few small towns on flatland in Alaska
