Alaska Governor
Visits The Ranch
Governor Frank Murkowski
Greeted by Ranch Owner
Chris Trump
We were priveliged to have
the Governor visit!

Husky Ranch owners Chris & Marilyn Trump are descendants of
one of the first original homesteaders, Abraham Lincoln Parker,
that came here in 1916.  Chris can tell you great old-time stories
about Gustavus and gold mining in Glacier Bay!
The Husky Ranch is becoming a great part of our little town,
starting a new tradition of an ancient art of dog sledding.
Visitors from all over the world come to Glacier Bay to see the
beautiful views, glaciers, wildlife and now they can also
experience the thrills of dog sledding.  The Great Alaska Husky
Ranch is just one of many fun activities Gustavus has to offer.
